Cormode & Dickson is once again riding the bus with Diversified Transportation Ltd., part of the Pacific Western Group of Companies! In the past C & D has collaborated with Pacific Western on the Red Arrow facility in North Calgary, and the DTL Bus Wash in Fort McMurray. This time around DTL is excited about their new three storey 12,000 s.f. Operations Center. The new facility will house scheduling, dispatch, finance and executive offices and will be the check-in/check-out for many DTL drivers.
“Moving into this new facility validates Diversified’s status as an industry leader,” says Mark Hannah, Vice President Oil Sands. “It is the end result of a long term strategy that included significant capital investment in fleet, facilities and technology and truly establishes us as a world class organization.”
Since its humble beginnings in Fort McMurray some fifty years ago, Diversified has successfully grown with the community. Its fleet consists of 745 buses which transport 10 million passengers a year. Mark Hannah continues,
“We are proud of our roots in Fort McMurray; we have been and will continue to be part of this amazing community for many years to come.”
Cormode & Dickson operates a robust branch in Fort McMurray. Much the same as DTL, they are excited to be a part of the community and its explosive growth. They are also proud to work with DTL, as Rodney Capstick, Senior Project Manager, Cormode & Dickson, expresses:
“It is a privilege to work with the people of Diversified Transportation. They are leaders in their field and have been committed to providing great service to the communities they operate in for years.”
The future looks bright for both C & D and DTL as they continue to provide service for the community in which they operate. Ben Elzen, President, Cormode & Dickson shares this vision when he says,
“As Fort McMurray continues to grow and develop we see opportunity for our employees and clients. Working together, supporting our employees and clients helps to ensure continued success.”
